Ted Karfakis

I am an ecological scientist and activist from Greece. I have lived and worked in various parts of Europe and Latin America and have travelled in Oceania as well. In 2014 me and other people founded on Kalamos Island Terra Sylvestris a non govermental organization aiming to protect the environment and promote sustainable development through rewilding. To help achieve this we created soon after the Kalamos Island biological field station and eco-community . We aim through this to initiate widespread ecosystem protection ,restoration and sustainable development in our region which boasts many protected areas and prime pieces of nature. Come and join us and make the world greener, richer and more just!
