GEN Ambassador
My passion for permaculture started in 2017 with the defend the sacred gathering in Tamera where we blocked an oil drilling project by forming a human daulphin. There I realized that permaculture is much more than gardening, it is a movement, a worldview and most of all action. Since then, I've been helping to build a food forest, a sceptic tank, a strawbale house, an adobe house, a cob oven, a mycofiltration system, a and a rain capture system. I've followed a two week PDC in terra alta (Pedro Valdjiu), a one week permaculture teachers training in Vale da Lama (Patricia Pereira), and a one month ecovillage design course in Damanhur (Macaco Tamarice). Furthermore I've been volunteering for several organizations related to food such as taste before you waste (a food recycling NGO), ASEED Amsterdam (fossil-free agriculture campaigns/festivals) and Amitié sans frontières (feeding refugees in Brussels). My vision as an ambassador is to spread the power of GEN internationally. My mission for 2020 is to give courses to Steiner school kids in Belgium, coordinate metamorphosis gathering in Costa Rica and to follow gardening internships in Colombia, New Zealand and Belgium. Ave la terra!
