Kavitha Urvasie Selvaraj is a third generation Aurovilian, Indian and Dutch by nationality. She studied Sustainable Development in the Netherlands and worked as an ambassador/intern with Fair Trade certification process for The Hague, and with Amnesty International 'Movies that Matter', in the Netherlands. She then worked in India for Auroville's Town Hall 'Entry Service' (Governance), for the New Era Secondary School (Education), and Pitchandikulam Forest’s project on Sustainable Enterprise Development (Environment). Kavitha then co-founded YouthLink, a service platform to engage young adults in all aspects of the Auroville community. She also co-founded the GEN-Auroville desk with Joss Brooks (GEN Elder). Kavitha is now a GEN International Trustee, as a representative from GENOA.
